Teeny Tiny Treasure Bag

For my first attempt at dyeing my own yarn, I took about twenty yards of wool recycled from a thrift store sweater, stuck it in a cup with a packet of koolaid, and microwaved it. It came out beautifully, and I'm in love (can anyone say, 'New hobby?') but I was stymied as to what to do with my first little scrap of hand-dyed yarn.

I finally settled on knitting a little bag, as a way to make something useful from it. It's perfect for storing a few of my tiny treasures, and as it's made from my first hand-dyed yarn, the bag is a treasure, too.
