      Make a friend for your favorite monkey to love! At about 8 inches high (seated) this adorable little primate is the perfect size for little arms to lug around - or for someone bigger to snuggle. With his floppy limbs and earnest expression, he's sure to make a great listener or playmate. This simple pattern works up quickly in worsted weight yarn, and would be great for an advanced or adventurous beginning crocheter.

      Materials:
      Smooth, sturdy worsted weight yarn: 1 1/2oz Coffee, 1/2oz Linen, small amount Black. Sample was made with Red Heart Super Saver.
      2 black 11mm (7/16") shank buttons
      Yarn needle
      G/6 (4.25 mm) hook or size that will provide a firm gauge
      Stuffing or Fiberfill
      Sewing needle and black thread (to attach buttons)

      Gauge: 7 sts x 7 rows of sc = 2"
