A single skein of bulky yarn is transformed into a cozy hat with fun embellishments! The hat is worked from the top down in granite stitch, (which is simple but texturally interesting, and very, very stretchy). The structure of the stitch allows the Tweed Stripes to work up into nice, thick, graduated stripes that produce a lovely effect. Sizes have been calculated for toddler, child, and adult-sized hats, so you can make one for all the ladies in your life! (Psst! That means you, too!)

K/10.5 Hook (6.50 mm)
Stitch marker (optional)
1" shank button, 1.5" flat button
Yarn Needle
Finished Size: Toddler, Child, Adult (18", 20", 22" finished circumference)
Gauge: 12 sts/14 rows in granite st = 4"
